CURRICULUM, EXAMINATIONS AND PROMOTIONS
CURRICULUM:
- The school has students enrolled from classes Nursery to XII.
- Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is being followed till Class II. However, for Classes III to X the new remodeled system of evaluation(NEP2020) is followed.
- In classes XI and XII all students prepare for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE. The students are offered the following combination of subjects:
SREAMS OFFERED:
- Science: English Core, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science/Physical Education/Informatics Practices/Psychology/Home Science.
- Commerce: English Core, Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Mathematics / Informatics Practices / Physical Education.
- Humanities: English, Political Science, Home Science, Psychology, Economics / Fine Arts / Physical Education.
EXAMINATION:
- Class Tests, Periodic Tests & Term Examinations are regular features of the school evaluation process. Final results are declared on the basis of cumulative marks obtained in these exams.
- The school has the liberty to disallow a student from appearing in final exam whose attendance is below 75%.
- The pass percentage is 33%. Promotion will be given as per C.B.S.E norms
- On the days when the tests are held, attendance for the full day is essential. Students will not be granted any sort of leave after the test.
- In case of absence, due to sickness during the exam/test, the parents have to inform the Principal on the same day along with Medical Certificate, then only the exam/test will be marked ML. In case of absence without permission the exam/test will be marked zero.
- A student using unfair means during a test will be given zero and stern action will be taken. Such a student will not be eligible for any academic awards or school appointments.
Evaluation of Class I to II
- The curriculum in the Primary Section is divided into two terms:
Term I: April to September
Term II: October to March
- Students are assessed on the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation pattern on a five point grading system.
Evaluation of Class III to VIII
- The curriculum is divided into two terms:
Term I: April to September
Term II: October to March
- Students are assessed on the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation pattern as per CBSE Guidelines. Final Evaluation will be based on MID-TERM, ANNUAL EXAM & INTERNAL ASSESSMENTS.
- Internal Assessments will include Attendance, Subject Enrichment, Project Based Activity, Portfolio, Multiple Assessments & Class Tests and Periodic Test/Unit Test.
- EXAM Syllabus of Classes III – V will be separate for both the terms.
- For Classes VI – VIII WHOLE syllabus will be covered for Annual Examination.
Evaluation of Class IX and XI
- The curriculum is divided into two terms:
Term I: April to September
Term II: October to March
- Final Evaluation will be based on MID-TERM, ANNUAL EXAM & INTERNAL ASSESSMENTS.
- 100% of the syllabus will be covered for Annual examination.
- Marks distribution for the whole session will be based on Periodic Tests, Multiple Assessments/Class test, Portfolio, Subject Enrichment and Written Examination.
- Promotion of students depends on the cumulative result obtained in the above said examinations and the Finals
Evaluation of Class X and XII
- In the Senior Section, evaluation is done continuously through Unit Tests and Terminal Exams.
- In addition, there will be Test Series and Pre-Boards to prepare aspirants for Board Examination.

- A student must secure at least 33% (i.e 33/ 100 ) in EACH subject studied by him/her during the session.
- The promotion to next higher class is also subject to the condition that a minimum of 25% marks must be scored in TERM1 & TERM2 altogether i.e. 18 out of 70 in each subject.
- It is mandatory for the students to appear in Annual Examination.
- A student must secure at least 33% (i.e. 33/ 100 ) in EACH subject studied by him/her during the session.
- The promotion to next higher class is also subject to the condition that a minimum of 25% marks must be scored in each subject of Annual Exam.
- The promotion to next higher class is also subject to the condition that a minimum of 33% marks must be scored in theory and in practical/project/ASL separately.

- Parents are requested to remain in regular touch with the day-to-day studies of the child and also to keep in contact with the school.
- Private tuitions are strongly discouraged.
